The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for tomorrow Monday afternoon significant risk of strong winds in the summits and midlands of Gran Canaria that could blow at 75 kilometers/hour, in the municipalities of Vilaflor and La Orotava in Tenerife where they could reach a similar magnitude; and in the summits of La Palma where the wind speed could blow above 85 kilometers per hour.
In general, this Monday there will be partly cloudy weather increasing to very cloudy from west to east throughout the afternoon. From the second half of the day, weak to moderate rains in the western half, mainly in the west and south of the Islands.
In the eastern islands, probability of weak rains to the west and south of Gran Canaria at the end of the afternoon and only possible in the rest at the end of the day. Temperatures with no changes in general.
Aemet forecasts a moderate southwest wind increasing to strong in the western half, with probable very strong gusts in high areas of La Palma, Gran Canaria and Tenerife in the afternoon and weak increasing from dawn to moderate in the eastern half of the Archipelago.
