The Government of Spain has decided to suspend flights with the United Kingdom starting this Tuesday, following the new strain of Covid-19 detected in the British country. According to the Secretary of State for Communication, the measure has been taken after the need to take coordinated measures was exposed in Brussels.
Some countries had already taken the lead in closing their borders with the United Kingdom, and this Monday Spain and Portugal have also done so. In the case of Spain, only Spanish citizens and residents will be able to fly from that country.
