The Minister of Social Welfare, Isabel Martín, accompanied by several councilors of the Cabildo of Lanzarote visited this Thursday the new mural that the Social Welfare Area shows off.
The mural, commemorating November 25, 'International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women', is made by the artist Iván T., and represents "some of the sequences faced by women and minors who are victims of violence".
"Leaving, reporting, seeking support, can lead us to a life free of abuse," can be read on the plaque next to the mural.
