The Provincial Court of Las Palmas has condemned the accused Antonio Mendoza Santana as criminally responsible for two continuous crimes of Sexual Aggression with penetration, without the concurrence of modifying circumstances of criminal responsibility, to the penalty of 14 years in prison for each of them, as the responsible author of a continuous crime of sexual assault without carnal access to the penalty of 7 years in prison, and as the author of a crime of sexual abuse without carnal access to the penalty of two years in prison, with the accessory of special disqualification for the right of passive suffrage during the times of the sentence, and prohibition of approaching or communicating in any way with the victims for a period of 5 years.
Likewise, as civil liability, the accused will compensate Lucia Mendoza Santana in the amount of 12,000 euros, Maria Isabel Mendoza Santana in the amount of 12,000 euros, Rita Mendoza Santana in the amount of 6,000 euros and Eludovina Mendoza Santana in the amount of 3,000 euros, for the moral damages caused to all of them, amounts that will be increased as provided in article 576 of the Law.
This is the ruling of the oral and public trial, before the Provincial Court of Las Palmas, First Section, Summary number 3 of 2003, followed for the crime of Aggression and Sexual Abuse, against Antonio Mendoza Santana, born in Las Palmas on June 29, 1953, without a criminal record, and on provisional release for this cause of which he was deprived from February 27, 2003 to October 1, 2003.
