San Ginés claims that the Court has admitted his lawsuit against Sosa and María Dolores Corujo

"They have been charged, as they would say, with embezzlement of public funds and prevarication," he said during the press conference in which he announced that he will not head CC lists.

The deputy spokesperson for CC in the Cabildo, Pedro San Ginés, stated this Thursday that the Court has accepted his lawsuit against the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, and against the councilor Juan Manuel Sosa, for the salary that the latter has been receiving as a released official through Health.

"They have been charged, as they would say, with embezzlement of public funds and prevarication,” said San Ginés, who has not provided documents or a copy of the judicial resolution.

The councilor and former president of the Cabildo made this announcement during the press conference in which he announced that he will not head any CC list in the upcoming elections due to his judicial situation.

At the end of his appearance, in which he lashed out against the PSOE, against the investigation of his judicial cases, against the UCO, and against the media that report on these procedures, because he considers them to be "attacks by land, sea, and air," Pedro San Ginés made that announcement about that other case in which he is the complainant, along with the rest of the CC councilors.

As he himself recalled, he filed that lawsuit six months ago and it has now been accepted for processing, so the corresponding investigation will begin. Along with Corujo and Sosa, whom he referred to as “the turncoat councilor who supports her in the government,” San Ginés states that “some other government official” is also being investigated, although he has not specified more names.

Sosa ran in the elections on a joint list with CC, which was the one who proposed him as a released councilor charged to the Government of the Canary Islands, due to his status as a doctor of the Canary Health Service. However, he maintains that when he left the spokesperson role, he should not have continued to be paid through that channel.
