The San Bartolomé City Council will carry out adaptation works on the Montaña Mina Road (LZ-304), with an investment of 355,287 euros. The works have the "objective of improving the access of the neighbors who have farms located in that area", they point out from the Council.
The mayor, Isidro Pérez, points out that "the area to be intervened is dedicated practically in its entirety to the cultivation of sweet potatoes, the product par excellence of our municipality. These improvements respond to the demand of farmers and the firm commitment made by the City Council to the primary sector, therefore, we continue working to facilitate their arduous work, contributing to ensuring that our deep-rooted agricultural tradition is not lost”, Pérez points out.
The Councilor for Works, Raúl de León, explains that “the road adaptation works will have an execution period of one month from the final award of the work and general construction, foundation, paving and civil engineering work will be carried out, among other tasks”.
This work will solve the access problems through the paving of the areas that are not currently paved and that after the passage of years have deteriorated with the transit of vehicles.
