The San Bartolomé City Council will put out to tender the works for adaptation and conservation of the toilets of the Infant and Primary Education Centers of the municipality, with a budget of 447,308 euros, according to the mayor Isidro Pérez.
“These works will be carried out with own funds, and with them we will continue our plan to continue improving public infrastructures.”
In addition, the Councilor for Education of San Bartolomé, Alma María González, has pointed out that the works will also include the adaptation of changing rooms, storage areas and other spaces intended for the center's staff necessary for an appropriate development of the activity they carry out.
The mayor also insists that these reforms would mean "a solution to accessibility problems, creating passable itineraries for all people and adapting all spaces to the current regulations of application."
The amount of the tender will be divided into three lots depending on the areas, with 240,750.88 euros for lot 1, which includes the CEIP Ajei, lot two with 137,193.02 euros for the CEIP Playa Honda and, finally, lot 3 will have a budget of 69,364.77 euros for the CEIP El Quintero and Güime.
Interested companies will have until May 18 to submit their offers, with an execution period of three months for the first two lots and one month for the third.
