The San Bartolomé City Council has successfully concluded the 2024 call for municipal online training with more than half a thousand registrations.

The mayor of the San Bartolomé City Council, Isidro Pérez, highlights "the success in improving the professional qualifications and access to free learning opportunities for the residents of the municipality thanks to the personalized online training platform", which has helped in the search for job opportunities during the last two years.

The project has been carried out through the Local Employment and Development Agency, in collaboration with the Commerce councilorship coordinated by the councilor Alma González.

The councilor responsible for the area, Alma Gonzáles, has expressed her satisfaction with the results and the response of the residents in taking advantage of this free resource, and points out that "the platform has been a key step to improve qualification, opening new doors both personally and professionally. We are proud in our government team of the positive impact it has had on our residents and we will continue to promote this type of initiatives."

During this period, more than 550 registrations have been reached in the different training courses offered by this platform, included in more than 10 different sectors, aimed at residents of the municipality and local businesses, highlighting the large number of students who have successfully completed the courses.

In this sense, people of all age groups, both unemployed and employed, with different levels of education, interested in improving their qualification and having more opportunities in the labor market, have benefited from this web training.

69% of the registrations registered on the online platform in 2024 correspond to women, reflecting a strong interest in accessing new learning opportunities.

Among the most requested courses are those related to education, management and administration, hospitality, office automation and languages, which shows an active search for practical training focused on key sectors of the local economy.

This platform developed by the company Triaformación has been easy to use and accessible from all devices, with computers and mobile phones being the most used.

The City Council wants to congratulate all the residents, as well as the local businesses that have obtained the diploma that certifies the completion of the online training through the platform, so all interested people are encouraged to continue participating in the next tool that will be launched soon this month, with the aim of continuing to raise their professional qualification.

The City Council thus reaffirms "its commitment to provide access to education and training as essential tools for personal and collective progress. The online training platform is a sample of how technology can be used to reduce barriers and generate real opportunities".
