The San Bartolomé City Council is working to get the municipality's educational centers ready. The goal is to ensure that the start of the school year in September is guaranteed to be normal.
The mayor of the municipality, Isidro Pérez, explains that during these weeks, painting, gardening, improvement of sanitary facilities, repair of doors and windows, conditioning of facades, maintenance of wood or electrical repairs, among other works, are being carried out to ensure that the educational community finds the centers in optimal conditions in September.
The works, of municipal competence, informs the Councilor for Public Services Raúl de León, are carried out in all schools and institutes of San Bartolomé: CEIP Ajei, CEIP Alcalde Alexis Tejera Lemes, IES San Bartolomé, IES Playa Honda and the unitary schools of Montaña Blanca and Güime.
“From this City Council, and thanks to the constant collaboration and dialogue with management teams and AMPAS, we try to respond to the demands and needs raised by students, teachers and families for the improvement of the centers, since at the end of each course, the facilities present a logical deterioration that cannot be prolonged”, the mayor expresses in a statement.
