The San Bartolomé Town Hall has paid sports subsidies to entities, clubs, schools and athletes of the municipality for an amount of 292,500 euros.
"San Bartolomé is committed to sports, subsidizing entities, clubs, individual athletes and sports schools, as the basis of the municipal sports future'', said the mayor, Isidro Pérez. "Once again, the deadlines are met in the payment of the much-needed aid, with which we try to facilitate the daily work of clubs and athletes in the municipality, adding this action to others that are already being carried out in terms of infrastructure improvement, to give athletes an adequate space for the realization of the activity", he added.
The Councilor for Sports, Raúl de León, explained that "about thirty applications were submitted in the competitive concurrence modality, distributed among the 19 sports clubs in the municipality, and the 11 sports schools where girls and boys between 4 and 16 years old participate".
According to the criteria set in the Regulatory Bases of Sports Subsidies, aid has been granted for transportation and/or participation in competitions or tests of renown and high level for municipal sports clubs and municipal individual athletes to 18 beneficiaries, distributed among 9 sports clubs and 9 individual athletes.
