The San Bartolomé City Council has reported the start of the tender for the project called "Improvement and Modernization of the Play Areas of the Municipality of San Bartolomé."
The budgeted value by the Corporation for these works is 1,718,281 euros, taxes included, financed with own funds of the City Council. The execution period of the action will be six months from the start of it.
The mayor, Isidro Pérez, explains that the purpose of the contract is "the modernization and adaptation of the space of the children's play areas of the municipality, to adapt these recreation spaces to the new times." "With this renovation of furniture and floors we intend to improve the safety of the boys and girls of the municipality," says the mayor.
The Councilor for Public Works, Raúl de León, points out that "the works will tend to improve the parks of San Bartolomé with the primary objective of making the game of our boys and girls safer and more accessible." In this regard, the Consistory will place special emphasis on the fact that the new parks "are inclusive, while at the same time they will have shaded areas."
