The San Bartolomé City Council has installed 9 video surveillance cameras in three locations in Playa Honda, with the aim of improving security and traffic.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, also announces that they plan to “increase the number and locations in the municipality”, adding these devices to the security improvements with video surveillance equipment.
From the Consistory they explain that the video surveillance system is called “Solfix Smartcity Video”, which includes, in addition to the previous installation, intelligent dome cameras, recognition cameras, 4G router, cloud server and image processing algorithms. In addition, it also has guarantee, maintenance, software platform and secure storage.
The City Council therefore informs all citizens, in application of Organic Law 7/21, of May 26, in its article, 16.5 "of the existence of fixed video cameras in the town of Playa Honda and under the authority of the Local Police department".
