The San Bartolomé City Council has opened the deadline for applications for grants under a competitive system for sports activities in the municipality. These grants are aimed at covering expenses of municipal sports entities, sports schools and travel of teams and individual athletes.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, stressed that, with these grants, "the Council intends to continue betting on actions that promote the practice, promotion and promotion of sport and physical activity, economically supporting the entities that need it to improve their conditions and their competitive capacity."
On the other hand, the Councilor for Sports, Alexis Hernández, specified that "a total of 314,500 euros will be allocated to these grants aimed at municipal sports entities, contributing to cover daily expenses, material or travel of municipal teams and individual athletes."
Sports entities and schools, among other requirements, must be registered in the Municipal Register of Sports Entities, while individual athletes must be registered in San Bartolomé, but not under the discipline of a municipal entity or school.
Those interested have until 11:59 p.m. on September 3 to submit applications. All interested persons and entities can consult the documentation on the electronic headquarters of the City Council and in the edict and announcement board of the Council.
