San Bartolomé also celebrated World Car-Free Day

The San Bartolomé City Council, through the Traffic Department, delegated to David Rocío, joined last Friday to celebrate World Car-Free Day, promoting the use of public transport and bicycles in different parts of the municipality, to reduce noise and air pollution, thus improving the quality of life of citizens.

World Car-Free Day started as an initiative to discourage the use of cars, seeing that their large-scale use is causing damage to the environment. On September 22nd, a call is made to citizens to leave this means of transport for one day and try new means of transportation.

Rocío encourages the residents of the municipality to use different means of transportation to increase the well-being of all, as well as inviting them to a family bike ride that will take place next Sunday, October 1st.
