The Councilor for Culture and Tourism of Teguise, Rita Hernández, has denied the accusations launched by the PSC of the municipality, who maintain that the councilor "contracted works from her Department to a company owned by her, from August to December 2009, for a value of 3,500 euros".
According to Rita Hernández, the Department of Culture has been requesting works from the same person for 15 years, first as an individual and then as a company. "It is true that the company belongs to a family member, but it has never been mine", the councilor stressed.
The Councilor for Culture and Tourism of Teguise has remained calm in the face of the accusations launched by the PSC. "They do not make me nervous at all. I am very clear about what I do and I have never asked anyone to invoice someone in particular", Rita Hernández pointed out. "The Department of Culture is working as always and if not, let them ask the technicians", she concluded.
For their part, the socialists of Teguise have announced that they will request the resignation of the Councilor for Culture and Tourism in the ordinary plenary session of the month of May.
