The former mayor of Yaiza and former vice president of the PNL, José Francisco Reyes, has hired the services of the lawyer Pablo Luna Quesada, who also intervenes in the Malaya case, the urban corruption plot uncovered in the Marbella City Council. Specifically, he defends the former mayor of Marbella, Marisol Yagüe, accused in this case of embezzlement, bribery and influence peddling.
Luna Quesada is a well-known criminal lawyer, specializing in corruption cases, and this Wednesday he could already be seen at the doors of the Arrecife Courts. There he confirmed to La Voz that he represents José Francisco Reyes, although he pointed out that it is "provisional".
Luna integrates and directs a law firm in Granada, called "Luna y Asociados", made up of eight lawyers and a jurist. It is an office founded in 1978, "with high specialization in Criminal Law".
Replacement
When this legal process against José Francisco Reyes began, more than three years ago, the former mayor appointed Felipe Fernández Camero as his lawyer. However, Camero also became charged a few months ago in this case, so he had to abandon his defense.
Now, in addition to continuing to have a lawyer from Lanzarote, Reyes has also "signed" a lawyer known to the media and with experience in one of the most notorious corruption cases that has occurred in Spain: the Malaya case.
