A total of 12 streets in the Los Mojones area, in Puerto del Carmen, will be repaired and repaved in the coming days within the project called “Repaving of several streets in Puerto del Carmen; Los Mojones area, from Risco de La Tiñosa, around Avenida de las Playas and Calle Guataca”.
From the Tías City Council, they detail that the streets that will be repaved soon are Traspiés, Pardelera, Garabato, Agachadilla, Cadera, Cucharona, Los Volcanes, Los Mojones, Mareta, Los Viejos Tendereteros, Huaracheros and Mestisay.
Within this project, awarded for 510,775 euros, numerous roads in Puerto del Carmen have already been repaved, such as Princesa Guayarmina, Tanausú, Rompimiento, Laja, El Toscón, Piedra Negra, Punta del Barquillo, Guapanapay and Guataca.
The Consistory points out that the works consist of "the elimination of deformations and potholes, elimination of barriers, resurfacing and the placement of horizontal and vertical signage."
The Tías City Council apologizes "for the inconveniences caused to residents and road traffic", while requesting caution when traveling through the area.
