To the serious problem suffered by the residents of the Playa Blanca Partial Plan, declared illegal by the Justice, are also added others related to the lack of services in the area. The section "You also make LA VOZ" has received repeated complaints from many affected, denouncing their situation.
The last one, from a neighbor who criticizes, above all, "the lack of light, and therefore the insecurity that is experienced in this partial plan." In her writing, she affirms that a few months ago they held a meeting with the mayor of Yaiza, raising these and other problems, and that he assured them that "urgent measures would be taken on this issue." However, she regrets that "not only has no improvement been seen" but also, this Sunday, from 6:00 p.m., she could no longer "leave home walking, since the entire plan is completely without light."
Therefore, she explains that they have sent a letter to the City Council to raise their complaints again. "I would like them to have to live a situation like this even for one day, since, seeing it from the outside, it does not seem important, but when you cannot go for a walk from your own house because you cannot see half a meter from yourself, it is," she affirms in her writing.
"Our community is paying the corresponding fee for said service day by day and, therefore, the minimum we request is to receive it. Whether for the well-being of citizens, or for their safety, the City Council should take urgent and serious measures, as promised in the meeting that took place," insists this neighbor.
In addition, she highlights that "it is difficult enough to live in a house declared illegal due to 'political irregularities', so they make living day by day even more complicated."
