The Arrecife City Council has published the list of those who have passed the tests to obtain the Municipal Taxi Driver Permit. The City Council continues to develop agreements with the taxi sector in the municipality and has published the new list of admitted applicants for obtaining the Municipal Taxi Driver Permit in the municipality of Arrecife, thus facilitating the existence of professionals to cover the labor needs of this guild. This is the second call for these tests to be carried out in this period of 2024.

The Department of Transport and Mobility of the Arrecife City Council, under the direction of Councilor Mario González Altube, reports that this past January 19, the list of those who passed and failed to apply for these tests has been published on the Electronic Headquarters of the Arrecife City Council (announcement board area). The Councilor for Mobility and Transport of the capital's City Council details that people who appear as excluded in this list can present the required documentation so that their admission can be corrected. Those interested have 10 calendar days to carry out these procedures.

Mayor Yonathan de León, and Councilor Mario González Altube, who recently met with all the taxi drivers in the municipality, emphasize that the Arrecife City Council wants to cover the new needs of taxi drivers that in recent times demanded the call for these tests, and that are required to be able to work as taxi drivers in the capital of Lanzarote.

In the communication published on the website of the electronic headquarters of the city council, Councilor Mario González Altube, highlights that "the following provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants has been approved, for the celebration of said tests, mentioning the reasons that must be corrected within the established period. In application of article 68 of Law 39/2015 of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, the interested parties are required to, within a period of ten calendar days, counted from the publication, correct the fault or accompany the mandatory documents, with an indication that, if they do not do so, they will be considered to have withdrawn from their request, after a resolution that must be issued in the terms provided for in article 21 of the aforementioned Law."
