Canary Coalition (CC) San Bartolomé criticizes the disregard of the socialist mayor, Isidro Pérez, regarding the complaints and concern of residents and users about the noise and insecurity generated by the energy trees installed in the Urban Park of Playa Honda.
In this regard, the nationalist municipal spokesperson, David Rocío, regrets the rejection by the governing group in the plenary session held this Wednesday of a motion presented by Coalición Canaria in which it requested the removal and relocation to another place in the municipality of the aforementioned trees.
“We are firmly committed to the promotion of renewable energies, but their implementation must always guarantee the safety and quality of life of people,” says David Rocío, who warns of the “danger posed by the possibility of detachment of some of the blades that simulate leaves.”
For all this, the Canarian nationalist formation will urgently request the elaboration of an official technical report by the City Council where the level of noise generated by these mobile parts and the risk they pose to people, homes, and vehicles is urgently evaluated, adds Rocío.
