Podemos in the Canary Islands will proclaim Noemí Santana as its regional general secretary this Wednesday, after she won the votes against the other three candidates who were vying to lead the party: Conchi Monzón, Juan Márquez and Eloy Cuadra, the only candidate from Tenerife.
According to the data released last night on the formation's website, 3,506 of the 12,000 registered voters voted. Only 1.63% of voters, 57 in total, cast blank votes.
Noemí Santana Perera obtained 1,292 votes, 37.46% of those cast. The remaining votes were divided between Conchi Monzón Navarro, 1,044 votes, 30.27%; Juan Márquez Fandiño, 925, 26.82%; and Eloy Cuadra Pedrini, 188 votes, just 5.45% of those cast
