Two planes from foreign companies, which landed in Guacimeta between 11:00 and 14:00 this Sunday, had to wait more than an hour for Iberia's ground assistance services.
The lack of personnel from the Spanish airline again took its toll on foreign tourists, who also waited more than an hour and a half to receive their suitcases.
Problems without strike
The Iberia Strike Committee reported that the company again misled travelers by telling them that the problems were a consequence of a strike day, despite the fact that there was no strike this Sunday. On the other hand, the Committee confirmed that on February 17 the trial will be held for the dismissal of eleven of the seventeen workers affected by the latest employment regulation file.
T4 did not affect Lanzarote
The setbacks of T4 in Barajas, baptized by the pilots as the PP terminal, did not cause delays at the Island's airport. Only one Iberia flight from Madrid was delayed by 34 minutes. According to the company, the problems at the capital airport have not had significant effects on Iberia flights. The company has around 1,000 daily movements.
