NC: San Ginés has wasted 2.5 million euros to destroy the house on Fajardo Street"

"Pedro San Ginés has spent 2.5 million euros, so far, to destroy the historical heritage of the house on Fajardo Street while we have 30 percent unemployment." This is stated by Nueva Canarias, which emphasizes that "this is what the latest report from the (former) director of the museum transmits, which San Ginés had hidden until the press published it", referring to the report by the former Head of Heritage of the Cabildo revealed by La Voz de Lanzarote.

"While all the political forces of Lanzarote thought the purchase of that house for more than 1.6 million was absurd," the formation continues, "it was even stronger when we found out about the personal relationship that united him with the family that owned the property." For Nueva Canarias, "the height of absurdity came just when we learned that, in addition, he paid more money for the house than the family itself asked for in the appraisal, about 117,000 euros extra."

Nona Perera, the former Director of Heritage of the Cabildo, signed a report detailing how Pedro San Ginés "is destroying the historical value of that house, and that they have already spent about five hundred million of the old pesetas on the damage," they add.

Pedro San Ginés "hides and persecutes"

The party highlights in its statement that, "in addition, this report has been hidden from the people of Lanzarote, as well as the attack on the prosecutor's office, or the report from La Geria, while Nona Perera was expelled from the position of director of the museum", who was dismissed less than a month and a half after issuing that report. "I hide the report and punish the officials who don't laugh at my jokes, that's the policy of Coalición Canaria", says Nueva Canarias.

For the party, "this is why San Ginés has become a sinister character, willing to persecute judges and prosecutors, officials, and anyone who says that his jokes cost us all money."

"Finally, we would like to ask San Ginés to leave the world of art, since the purchase of the house on Fajardo Street, now the destruction of its historical value, the purchase of the underwater museum and the conviction for fraud of the promoter of that museum, have been a real failure and a shame for the island. If he wants to continue his artistic career, we ask him to do so by risking his money, which is why he earns more than 80,000 euros a year, not to lie to the citizens", they conclude.
