Nueva Canarias expresses "its strongest condemnation for the attempted aggression suffered today by the Podemos councilor Daniel Cabecera, by the president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés".
"San Ginés again shows a violent attitude towards someone who disagrees with him, being the sad protagonist in a plenary session held on the island of La Graciosa," say from the nationalist formation.
For the nationalists, "this is not the first time that the aggressive character of San Ginés has been the protagonist in a plenary session of the Cabildo, from our political organization we cannot allow actions like today's by a public official, so we demand that he bring forward his resignation as soon as possible from the position he holds".
Finally, they suggest to Coalición Canaria that "they seriously reflect on whether they believe that San Ginés is in a position to continue occupying the presidency of the Cabildo of Lanzarote".
