The PSOE of Teguise has described as a "failure" the lack of important initiatives that the municipal government, of the Canarian Coalition, Popular Party and Vox, presented during the plenary session that took place this Wednesday in La Graciosa.
“Not a single measure of depth, relevant, important,” said the socialist spokesperson Marcos Bergaz, “about La Graciosa, in a plenary session that once again makes clear the reluctance of the current Government.”
“Unfortunately, 110 days after the start of the mandate, the municipal government is still in vacation mode or lacks ideas, which would be worse for municipal interests,” Bergaz pointed out.
“There is no justification for a mayor with 11 councilors, three parties, CC, PP and Vox, to convene a plenary session on the eighth island and with all the issues to be resolved that remain waiting for a solution, not to bring any proposal worthy of highlighting,” stressed the socialist leader.
From the Socialist Party, as the most voted formation in La Graciosa and Teguise, together with the rest of the opposition parties, we transferred new positive proposals to improve the lives of all the people of Teguise and Graciosa.
“Reactivating the Citizen Council, a plan to improve the image and signage of the eighth island or regulate municipal participatory budgets were some of our proposals that, however, were rejected by the same Government that does not present any proposal of importance on La Graciosa,” concluded Marcos Bergaz.
