León y Castillo Street will be closed to vehicle traffic for 60 business days starting on Tuesday, August 12, due to the "expansion of the Arrecife sewage system", according to the City Council through the Departments of Traffic, Roads and Works, Urban Planning and Police.
The works will affect the section between Guillermo Tophan Street and the Medular Rambla, so the double direction of traffic will be enabled in the entrance lane and the lanes will be delimited in said section by yellow horizontal signs, maintaining the existing pedestrian crossings.
The bus stops affected by the section of work are temporarily moved, one to Donantes de Sangre Street and the other in front of the Municipal Swimming Pool.
The Arrecife City Council recommends that citizens drive with caution, respecting the signs in the area during the renovation period.
