The Tías City Council informs of the temporary closure of different streets in the center of Tías due to the celebration of the IV La Candelaria and San Blas Night Race on January 31 at 8:00 p.m., included in the program of the municipality's patron saint festivities.
The road closure will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday on a section of the central avenue Alcalde Florencio Suárez, between the roundabout at the intersection with San Blas street and the roundabout at the intersection of Libertad street.
This closure will be maintained until 10:30 p.m. and will affect the bus stops called Tías Centro (Line 34 and Line 60) and Ferretería de Tías (Line 34 and Line 60), which will be canceled at that time.
Between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., the circulation of vehicles will be prohibited on another section of Alcalde Florencio Suarez avenue, between the roundabout at the intersection with Los Fajardos road and the roundabout at the intersection with Libertad street.
For this reason, access to and exit from the Hiperdino supermarket parking lot will be enabled by accessing Aulaga street from Mencey street. In addition, the taxi rank on the avenue will be moved to Aulaga street.
Access to the Health Center
Between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., the circulation of vehicles will be prohibited on Los Fajardos road, Los Lirios road (from Las Claras road to the Tías-San Bartolomé road), La Candelaria road, Vistas de Tías road and Las Claras road.
Therefore, access to the Tías Health Center will be enabled by Alcalde Florencio Suarez avenue, accessing from the La Casona roundabout (intersection with Pérez Galdós street).
Residents in Los Fajardos road, Huertas Viejas road, Los Lirios road (from Las Claras road to the Tías-San Bartolomé road), La Candelaria road, Barranco del Puente road, Talisca road, Vistas de Tías road, Las Cuestas road and Las Claras road are advised to organize their possible transfers in and out of their homes based on the planned road closure between 8:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m.
Residents in Los Lirios road (from Las Claras road to Orquídea street), Orquídea street and Tajinaste street, between 8:45 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. will have access to their homes enabled in that time interval through La Vereda de Conil road, accessing it from the LZ-501 (Los Lirios - Conil).
The exit from the defined roads will be possible in the direction towards Los Lirios. Between 7:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., the bus stops called Gabriel Díaz, Las Claras, Instituto de Tías and Los Lirios (Line 34) are canceled.
