The journalist Gorka Landaburu, exiled from Francoism and victim of the terrorist group ETA, intervened this Wednesday morning on the program Good morning, Lanzarote of Radio Lanzarote-Onda Cero to narrate his life, as a communication professional persecuted by terrorism.

During his speech, he showed what his years were like at Cambio16, exposing the crimes of ETA terrorism in the Basque Country. On May 15, 2001, Landaburu received a package bomb at his home in Zarauz (Guipúzcoa), which caused him serious injuries. He had to be escorted for years.

Landaburu is visiting the island for the conferences on Democratic Memory and Resistance against terrorism organized by the PSOE of Lanzarote, where he will offer a presentation on The role of the media in the construction of a dignified memory in Spain.
