The San Bartolomé City Council announces the reopening of the La Plazoleta playground, in Playa Honda, popularly known as the ‘Green Parrot’ park, once the "rehabilitation and modernization works to allow greater enjoyment and improvement of conditions for families and children" have been completed, the Council states.

This action, framed in the plan for modernization and improvement of the municipality's playgrounds, has consisted of the "change of children's games" and a "new pavement that provides greater security to the area", they emphasize.

In addition, the remodeling of the place will allow "the space to become an adapted and inclusive area for all families in the municipality", they make clear.

On the other hand, the area has also been provided with "shade areas", which will allow "greater shelter in the environment" of the playground, they comment.

After the modernization and improvement works, the next park in the municipality to be operational will be the one in the town of Güime, where boys and girls will be able to enjoy a renovated playground, they acknowledge.
