Jose Antonio González has been re-elected as general secretary of Juventudes Socialistas de Lanzarote y La Graciosa at the ordinary Congress held this past Sunday at the Casa del Pueblo, in Valterra.
At the event, which began at 10 in the morning, greetings and voting on the management report took place, which was approved unanimously. After the vote, a working table was held to discuss and debate among those present feminist policies and policies aimed at young people, as well as measures to help combat the climate emergency.
Subsequently, the amendments to the Framework Paper were debated and the voting of the candidacies for the island bodies took place, in which the result was also favorable unanimously.
“I want to thank my colleague Adrián González for all his work over these years, in which he has worked tirelessly for the development and growth of our organization, which has led him to represent Lanzarote and La Graciosa in the federal executive, through the secretariat of LGTBI Rights”, highlighted José Antonio González Pérez.
“I also wanted to thank the colleagues from the Canary Islands and our general secretary, Víctor Camino", added Pérez. "We must work to promote measures that favor the development of young people and lead the changes that allow us to fight against climate change and access to quality employment”.
The rest of the executive was made up of Luis Manuel Rosales, Secretary of Organization, Jenifer Galán, Secretary of Institutional Policy, Eduardo Regadera, Secretary of LGTBI Rights and Sexual Diversity, and Nerea Cabrera, Secretary of Feminism. In addition, Víctor Camino, General Secretary, and Ada Santana, General Secretary of Juventudes Socialistas de Canarias, also attended the Congress.
