The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, has revalidated his absolute majority in the municipality of Tinajo, obtaining 49.42% of the votes. The count in this municipality was the first to close and has left a new victory for the candidate of the Canarian Coalition, who has lost a councilor but has maintained seven councilors, which are just the ones needed for an absolute majority.

In second place was the party created by his former partner, Antonio Morales, who obtained three councilors with his Renovating Movement of Tinajo, with 20.49% of the votes. For its part, the PSOE has maintained the three councilors it had, with 19.36% of the votes.

Thus, only three parties will be part of the next Corporation, from which the PP and Nueva Canarias have been left out, which had one councilor each. In the case of NC, the one who had been its councilor left the party to join Lanzarote Avanza, but has not obtained representation.
