The general secretary of the Popular Party of Lanzarote, Jacobo Medina, met this Tuesday with the young people of New Generations, thus opening a calendar of meetings that next week will take him to each and every one of the local committees of the different municipalities.
The PP states that Medina wanted to show once again the "clear and determined" commitment that the party leadership is making to New Generations since Astrid Pérez assumed the presidency of the party, involving them in decision-making and facilitating their incorporation into electoral candidacies and, with it, into public management.
A commitment that is pointed out that was once again evident and that the president of NNGG Lanzarote, Lara Álvarez, wanted to thank, who conveyed to the new general secretary the internal restructuring that the youth organization plans to carry out as well as the action plan for the coming months.
Jacobo Medina encouraged his colleagues to continue working and contributing ideas to improve the situation of the island's youth population through the work carried out in the various institutions, whether in government or in opposition.
The island's general secretary will continue his round of meetings next Monday with the members of the Local Committee of the Popular Party of Tías.
