Helen Lindes, a sought-after international model and Miss Spain in 2000, has joined the promotion of Puerto del Carmen, and the island of Lanzarote, where she resides with her family, in the municipality of Tías. In her blog on the Internet, Helen recommends and promotes Puerto del Carmen, as explained by the Tías City Council in a statement.
With several poses on Los Pocillos beach, Lindes proposes to her followers and fans on the Internet to spend their holidays in Puerto del Carmen. "If you are still thinking about where to spend your Easter holidays, I am going to give you a recommendation. I am of course going to go to my land, Lanzarote, where we have an almost perpetual spring? If you are looking for a nearby destination that allows you to disconnect, sunny and with very friendly and attentive people, I recommend you visit my island, which is beautiful and not too crowded at this time of year," says Helen Lindes.
"And it is now, when we still have white and winter skin, when we really appreciate the first rays of sunshine touching us. And for those who want to have everything close by, the airport, the beach, the restaurants, the shops... the best place is undoubtedly Puerto del Carmen," highlights the model.
"I live a few minutes from this town and I usually take advantage of my visits to the island to take a good swim in the sea. There is nothing that feels better than the fresh Atlantic Ocean awakening each of the pores of your skin. And the water is usually quite cold, but better for circulation, right? Hehehe. My favorite beach is Los Pocillos, it is never crowded, it is safe and quiet. Here I show you some photos of my recent trip to Lanzarote where I was able to take a long walk with some friends and my faithful Bella. At the end of the post I also advise you on some restaurants that I like very much and that I usually go to," she indicates.
The model even proposes a gastronomic and leisure route through the tourist area of Puerto del Carmen. Precisely, in these weeks the Department of Tourism of Tías is promoting a campaign on social networks and other online media to promote and relaunch Puerto del Carmen as a holiday destination, especially among the Canary Islands market and the Peninsula, as well as several countries in Europe.
