The Haría City Council has reported this Thursday the start-up of the resurfacing works on San Juan street, one of the main roads of the municipality and its surroundings. According to the council's announcement in a note, these works "begin the improvement of several streets of great importance for the connectivity" of the municipality, which has a budget of more than 320,000 euros.

The mayoress of Haría, Evelia García, explained that the road sweeping works have begun this week and announced that the traffic plan will soon be made available to the population so that they are aware of possible cuts and other incidents.

In addition, the council has explained that the works "will consist of the resurfacing of the road, prior to milling the pavement on the sides of the section of the street to avoid raising the height due to the disparity of the elevation of the existing buildings." Likewise, the Council will also act on Faja, Piletas and Vistas del Valle streets soon.

The works have a budget of 320,324.79 euros and are part of the Municipal Cooperation Plan developed by the Cabildo of Lanzarote. The actions will have an execution period of one month.
