The Haría City Council will analyze all municipal administrative procedures to guarantee compliance with current data protection regulations. To this end, it has awarded a new contract, which will be valid for one year, with the aim of continuing the work carried out to date.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, emphasizes that this action "responds to the City Council's commitment to defending the fundamental rights of citizens." He adds that with this initiative, the City Council is advancing towards its goal of consolidating a more secure, efficient, and accessible administration that protects the personal information of residents and strengthens their trust in public services.
The Councilor for Procurement, Evelia Garcia, points out that the work will allow for "continuous maintenance, supervision, and updating of records, offering specialized advice and mandatory training to municipal staff, while the tender for the travel agency, accommodation, and vehicle rental services contract seeks to optimize public spending and facilitate the proper development of municipal responsibilities, thus moving towards a more secure, efficient, and accessible administration."
The work will consist of the continuous maintenance, supervision, evaluation, and updating of records.
To carry out this process, specialized advice will be offered to the City Council to analyze risks and carry out the corresponding impact assessment, should it be necessary. Furthermore, the contracted service includes mandatory training for all City Council staff on new regulations and procedures.
Likewise, the City Council has also tendered a contract for travel agency, accommodation, and vehicle rental services, designed to make spending on these items as efficient as possible. In addition to facilitating the proper development of public responsibilities linked to municipal activity.
