The Haría City Council, through the Department of Contracting, will carry out the improvement of the vertical and horizontal signage of the municipal road network, in order to guarantee road safety in all the towns in the northern area of Lanzarote. This contract has an investment of 85,600 euros.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, affirms that this project will improve road safety in the different areas of the municipality, guaranteeing the correct circulation of vehicles and avoiding traffic incidents. “We must ensure the well-being of citizens”, he clarifies.
For her part, the first deputy mayor and councilor of the Area, Evelia García, details that the council seeks to always offer the best services to the population. “Our responsibility is to keep the municipality in optimal condition in all aspects”, she indicates.
The work to be carried out includes the maintenance, repair and cleaning of each of the elements that make up the signs and road markings, as well as the inspection of the public road facilities and those incorporated during the contract.
In addition, it also includes the execution of installation, expansion or modification works of the road signage convenient to improve road safety and mobility in the municipality.
With the award of this service, the Haría City Council intends to guarantee the maintenance of the signs and road markings on the roads and streets of all the towns in the municipality.
