Water tank in the municipality of Haría

The Haría City Council requests the Lanzarote Water Consortium to supply water tanks to guarantee the supply of businesses and shops in the municipality, as it is doing in other towns on the island.

The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, believes that “the situation that residents and businesses in the municipality are experiencing, suffering the consequences of this water crisis and the Consortium's lack of management, is unacceptable.”

Likewise, the mayor assures that measures will continue to be taken so that no business is affected. Alfredo Villalba assures that, "if the Consortium does not distribute the requested water tanks, it will be responsible for managing the supply to meet the needs of the establishments and it will be transferred to the Consortium at no cost."

The Haría City Council maintains its commitment to seek immediate solutions that guarantee a constant and adequate supply for the well-being of the municipality, especially when it comes to a basic need, such as the water supply.
