The Yaiza City Council has invited the population to enjoy the Femés festivities this weekend. "They are short but intense festivities," the council added in a statement.

"A weekend is enough for Femés to fully enjoy the celebrations in honor of the Virgen del Rosario," the council assured in a statement. The Yaiza City Council invites you to share with neighbors from all over Lanzarote the program of activities for this weekend organized by the Yaiza City Council and the festival committee, an agenda that focuses its attention on the traditional pilgrimage on Sunday with the municipal call for the participation of pilgrims dressed in typical Canarian attire.

The mass is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, October 8, as a celebration prior to the pilgrimage, which features the animation of the Janubio band and the toque and dance groups of the Rubicón Folklore Group. Once the pilgrimage is over, the party continues in the Plaza de San Marcial with the sharing of a Canarian enyesque enlivened by the Sondemar group.

The town also invites you to the children's parade on Saturday the 7th at 10:30 a.m. in the vicinity of the square and to the night of dance and parrandas starting at 9:00 p.m., whose poster announces the performances of the Son del Norte band, the Lanzarote Swing quartet, and the Swing trio.
