´El País´ calls the Gran Castillo Hotel "the other Canary Algarrobico"

This Monday, the digital edition of the national newspaper El País echoes the latest rulings issued by the TSJC annulling the licenses for which the Papagayo Arena Hotel and the Gran Castillo Hotel were built, naming it as "the other Canary Island Algarrobico", thus extending to this hotel the nickname they gave to the Papagayo Arena, comparing it with another hotel establishment located on one of the beaches of the Murcian coast.

El País recalls in its article that the Ministry of the Environment is carrying out a process of forced expropriation of the Papagayo Arena Hotel in order to demolish it and states that the Ministry "will soon do the same with the adjacent hotel", the Gran Castillo. The newspaper refers to both hotel establishments as "a single block that covers the entire extension of the beach" of Las Coloradas and considers this location "not very compatible with the title of Biosphere Reserve that was granted to Lanzarote in 1993".
