Education launches a classroom for adults in La Graciosa

The general director of Vocational Training and Adult Education of the Department of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands, Manuel Jorge Pérez, inaugurated this Thursday in La Graciosa a classroom for the education of adults, whose section will depend administratively and pedagogically on the Adult Education Center (CEPA) Titerroygatra, of the municipality of Teguise (Lanzarote).

The adult classroom that is located in the facilities of the Ignacio Aldecoa public school, will operate from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. English classes in initial levels and basic computer courses will be the subjects that will be taught from this Thursday. A total of 32 students will attend the first of the classes and 36 students to the second.

This initiative is joined by the intention of the Ministry of Education of the Government of the Canary Islands to implement in La Graciosa the next school year the levels of 3rd and 4th of ESO.
