Cs asks the City Council to install "water supply points" for animals on the Playa Honda promenade

Ciudadanos has presented a motion, which will be debated on July 31, to request the government group of San Bartolomé to "install water supply points for pets on the Avenida Marítima de Playa Honda".

In this regard, the municipal spokesperson for Cs in the local corporation, Javier Lemes, explained that "San Bartolomé has become a leading municipality in the defense of animal welfare", as a result of the fact that every day "more and more residents have a pet in their home".

Therefore, and because "the City Council cannot be left behind", Ciudadanos has demanded that the Corporation "attend to the reality of the municipality" and "install water supply points for pets, especially dogs, in the water intake areas of the Avenida del Paseo Marítimo de Playa Honda".

Lemes reminded the PSOE that this measure would "meet a historical neighborhood demand", while "the municipality would take a leap in quality and good work, becoming an example of coexistence and civility on the island".
