Thus, the Tías City Council has seen the areas assigned to four councilors and the mayor himself varied, who has delegated the areas of Police and Cleaning to councilors Alfonso Gopar and Sergio Antonio Rodríguez. As of this Wednesday, Councilor Francisco Toledo will assume Housing, Education, Training, Heritage, Health, Consumer Affairs, Agriculture and Livestock. For his part, José Antonio Gutiérrez will be in charge of Urban Planning, Classified Activities, Environment, New Technologies and Culture.

VII Island Congress of the PSOE
"I accept the decision of the socialist delegates who have freely elected the representatives of the Canarian Socialist Party in Lanzarote" was Cruz Saavedra's response when asked about the VII Socialist Congress held this past weekend.
According to him, the Local Committee of the Party in the municipality decided to appeal to the regional and federal bodies and "they will be the ones to decide the organic issues of the party".
