Comercio Arrecife unveils new identifying image

The Department of Commerce and Consumption of Arrecife, managed by Isabel Mesa, presented this Wednesday the new identifying image of Comercio Arrecife. This image will be present from now on in future campaigns designed by the Department in the posters, brochures, balloons and paper bags that are distributed by the shops.

The presentation, which was held in the Municipal Archive, was attended by the acting mayor Rafael Juan González, the Councilor for Commerce and Consumption, Isabel Mesa, and the manager of the creative company of the image "Social Val Consultora", Alberto Valenzuela. González, who congratulated the Department of Commerce for the "work it is carrying out" stressed that it is "a difficult sector, but these steps are being noticed." "Now it is up to the business community to do its part," he added.

For her part, Isabel Mesa said that "with this new image we want to promote the use of shops in Arrecife, both in the downtown area and in its surrounding neighborhoods, with the aim of supporting and strengthening ties between traders and consumers." The Councilor for Commerce explained that, to this end, they are working on other measures, "such as trade websites, apps or information signs."

The councilor also stressed that "it is a pleasant image, which wants to convey the main advantages of trade in Arrecife, which is the proximity, friendly customer service and good advice." Valenzuela, meanwhile, explained that the idea is to "symbolize the Puente de las Bolas with a simple layout and straight lines."

The city council has stressed that this new identifying image is "the prelude to the dynamization of trade in Arrecife and serves as a key to the campaign to promote small businesses." It is, they point out, to "collectively address strategies to promote consumption and the commercial fabric."
