Citizens have denounced this Monday "the malfunction of the electronic headquarters of the Teguise City Council", as well as "the great disadvantage that residents have compared to the residents of other municipalities", since "they do not have the option of carrying out procedures online through identification systems such as DNI, agreed key or digital certificate."
In this regard, Raquel Hernández has stated that "in the times we are in, it is inadmissible that the electronic headquarters cannot be accessed with these identification systems." In this sense, she assured that "all administrations, except the Teguise City Council, have done their homework and have been updated."
For this reason, she has urged the municipal government to "solve this situation as soon as possible to speed up the administrative procedures of the residents", since "currently, they have to go to an office to request a username and password, valid only for the city council, to be able to carry out procedures and access different documents."
Finally, Hernández has suggested to the local government group that "take as a model the electronic headquarters of the Yaiza and Arrecife city councils, or that of the Cabildo de Lanzarote itself", because "telematics is here to stay."
