Citizen Alternative May 25 has named Miguel Barreto as candidate for Mayor of Teguise. Barreto is currently a lawyer and resides in the municipality he intends to become mayor of.
Alternativa has stated that Barreto was "concerned" about the situation in his municipality and, therefore, has decided to join this political party in order to address the management of Teguise.
