The Canarian self-drive car rental company CICAR participates one more year in B-Travel, the Barcelona Tourism Show, whose 2026 edition is held from this Friday, March 20, until Sunday the 22nd. The company's delegation is headed by its commercial director, Ramón Valiente.
B-Travel has consolidated itself as the main event in Spain aimed at the final traveler, bringing together travel agencies, hotel chains, cruise operators, transport companies, and tourism service companies. For all this, it makes it a strategic showcase for the promotion of destinations such as the Canary Islands in peninsular territory.
Start of the Holy Week tourism campaign
The present edition marks the beginning of the Easter tourist campaign, a period in which high demand towards the Canary Archipelago is again expected. National tourism continues to be a key market for the Islands, representing around 30% of the total visitors registered in 2025.
As in previous editions, CICAR has its own stand located next to the institutional representation of the Canary Islands and the entire tourism sector of the Archipelago, thus reinforcing its positioning as a benchmark in mobility for visitors.
The company, established on all the islands, maintains its leadership in the vehicle rental segment in the Canary Islands, offering a wide network of offices in airports, ports, tourist areas, and strategic points.
CICAR is part of the Cabrera Medina Group, a family business with a solid trajectory in the mobility sector in the Canary Islands. Its visual identity, designed by the renowned Lanzarote artist César Manrique, reflects the company's link with the territory and its commitment to local culture.
