The La Asomada-Mácher School of Early Childhood and Primary Education inaugurated this Friday in its facilities a radio-television studio, with the live broadcast and streaming of a television program with an interview with the mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, and with connections with correspondents located in different classrooms or "neighborhoods", such as "Infant, mathematics, language and science."
The mayor of the municipality, José Juan Cruz, on behalf of the entire government team, congratulated the students for "the enthusiasm for learning and training demonstrated with this project" and extended his congratulations to the management team of the center, led by Laura Arranz together with the head of studies, Carlos Valiente, the secretary, Cayeya Monagas, and the project coordinator, Alberto González, from the Department of Language and Literature.
The City Council of Tías, through the Education area managed by Tomás Silvera, was involved in this educational proposal "with the preparation of the necessary logistics to create the Media Classroom, with works to create spaces to divide the recording and sound areas." In addition, they add from the Consistory that the school received "a subsidy from a banking entity and another from a business entity in the Canary Islands".
Behind the fishbowl, in the technical service, there were several sixth-grade students following the instructions of Alberto González, equipped with a computer, sound table, outline and teleprompter. On the other side of the fishbowl worked the cameramen, the reporters and the interviewers.
The director of the center, who follows the 'Amara Berri' educational system, thanked the City Council "for preparing all this space with such agility, because at the beginning of the course we already had the facilities." "We have been preparing and today, finally, we can broadcast for the first time to all classes and to the families themselves", said Laura Arranz.
