Torrential Rains in Costa Teguise

This Monday, CCOO Lanzarote announced in a communication letter that it "makes itself available" to companies affected by the torrential rains that fell in Lanzarote a little over a week ago.

Alejandro Domínguez states that: "At the regional level, CCOO spoke a week ago with the Ministry of Tourism and Employment. All this to seek aid that complements the benefits of workers in the face of the recognition of the Erte due to force majeure".

From the Ministry of the Government of the Canary Islands itself, Jéssica del Carmen de León, cited the Secretary of Trade Union Action of the Federation of Services of CCOO Canarias, who "are willing to address this aspect, as already happened when the volcano of La Palma erupted".

Therefore, from the union they invite "all companies to contact us so that we can discuss these financial aid at a general level, regardless of whether these companies have received the communication letter from CCOO Lanzarote showing our willingness to help them".
