Coalición Canaria (CC) Yaiza highlights the creation of ten new jobs through the Employment Plan approved by the Cabildo of Lanzarote and endowed with 154,000 euros. In this sense, the secretary of the Local Committee of the nationalist Canarian formation, Mateo Ramón, highlights the commitment shown to the southern municipality by Jesús Machín Tavío, Minister of Employment of the Island Corporation.

The aforementioned Plan has led to the signing of an agreement between the Cabildo and the Yaiza City Council whereby the Corporation has proceeded to hire ten people who were unemployed and who have now gone on to reinforce the municipal garden conservation service through a six-month contract.

Through this Employment Plan, endowed with an amount of 1.5 million euros and especially aimed at people over 40 years of age, the Cabildo has signed agreements through the Ministry led by Jesús Machín Tavío with the seven City Councils of the Island that will allow the hiring of a total of 101 unemployed people.

“An initiative that will not only improve the quality of life of these people who were unemployed and now have a job”, emphasizes Mateo Ramón, “but will also allow them to acquire skills that will allow them to improve their professional future”, adds the secretary of the Local Committee of CC Yaiza.
