The municipal group of Coalición Canaria (CC) in the Arrecife City Council, has presented a writing in the registry of the corporation requesting its government to restore an urban situation "that has been denounced by some citizens in the Altavista neighborhood".
According to the nationalist spokesman, Luis Morales, "until today we have been able to verify that this work continues without any action being noticed by the Department of Urban Planning of this City Council, ignoring the complaints of the citizens".
In this sense, Morales insists that "the abandonment of the control of the works by the PILSOE government group implies that some believe that they can do whatever they want, and that is something that only weak governments allow and without the desire to work".
As the nationalist spokesman explains, "the complaints and denunciations of the neighbors focus on the fact that the work on Calle Claret de Altavista has cut off the alignment of the street in one fell swoop. And what is more serious; that it has cut off the pedestrian transit space of the sidewalks, which translates into a risk for pedestrians".
